From Stockport, follow the A626 Marple Road.
Once in Marple, pass Rose Hill railway station and turn right at the next traffic lights, (by the petrol station on right). Proceed up the one-way system (Church Lane) and straight over the mini-roundabout. *Continue up the hill (Church Lane) and turn left onto Church Street immediately after Marple Conservative Club (on left). The Ring O'Bells pub (on right) is just over the canal bridge.
From the A6 at the Rising Sun pub, Hazel Grove.
Continue along the A6 towards Disley for approximately 2 miles to the beginning of High Lane Village. Turn left at the Horseshoe pub (on left) onto Windlehurst Lane (signposted Marple). Proceed over two canal bridges and past the Ridge Danyers College. At the mini-roundabout turn right up Church Lane. Follow from * above.
From Glossop, on A626.
Once in Marple Bridge at the traffic lights go up Brabyns Brow, past Marple Station (on right). Cross the canal bridge, past the park (on left), down the hill to the next traffic lights . Go straight over (diagonal left of the Texaco garage) and up the one-way system (Church Lane). Straight over the mini-roundabout and follow from * above.
From the M60 at Stockport.
When travelling anti clockwise (east).
Leave at junction 27 (formerly 13 of M63), (Stockport East). Follow A626 Marple road, south. Once in Marple follow above.
When travelling clockwise (west).
Leave at junction 25, (watch out for intermediate traffic lights on slip-road!) at large roundabout (with traffic lights), follow Marple road as above.
PLEASE NOTE - There is no vehicular access through Church Street from Stockport Road.
