A canal arm that formerly served a coal mine and the High Lane town wharf . Now the home of the North Cheshire Cruising Club .
This is the return point for morning trips .

Several bridges like this can be seen as the canal passes through this former coal mining area .

Another arm and flat decked bridge that formerly served the "Nelson" pit . Now used for leisure boat services .There is an information centre and wheelchair accessible (with RADAR key) lavatory , nearby.

Flooded mining subsidence , the return point for afternoon trips follows shortly .
